Member Duties

Toe Stompers members are asked to serve as dance hosts during one dance per year and on Kitchen Duty during selected dances and workshop/lessons throughout the year.

For Dance Host duty, two members greet dancers and collect money for the dance at the door. Please be at the hall by 7:15 pm. If you can't serve on your appointed night, please try to swap with another member and let Don know.. Note: Dance hosts are needed only for dances, not for workshop or lesson nights.

Kitchen duty includes opening the hall; preparing coffee, ice water, and hot water for tea; setting up the food that dancers bring; cleaning up the kitchen and washing any dishes after the dance; sweeping the floor in the hall, and taking out the garbage. Please be at the hall by 7 pm so you can start the coffee. If you can't serve on your appointed nights, please swap dates with another member.
